Dear fellow Redeemed and Baptized Saints of St. Paul,
I am writing to inform you that the leadership of St. Paul Lutheran has determined that it would be best for the congregation and community to suspend public worship. This is out of love for our brother. We want to do all that we can to stop the spread of the Coronavirus and protect the health and life of one another.
Ministry still continues at St. Paul, although it will look different for a time. Pastor is still in the office as he is able to do so. If no one answers the phone, please leave a message. Pastor’s cell phone is 785-630-0751. While travel and extra visits are discouraged during this time, I am still responding to requests for ministry. If this pandemic continues for quite some time, we will arrange for small worship services and/or make use of private communions.
Worship continues to be livestreamed on Facebook live. Also, look at the church website (www.claycenterlutheran.com) for links and other important information.
I encourage you to continue with your daily devotions. If you would like to stop by the church and pick up a Hymnal to help in your devotions, please do so!
If you are able to continue your support of the ministry of St. Paul, as many are already doing, please do so. You may drop off your offering or mail it to the church.
Please pray for those that are ill with the Coronavirus for their quick healing. Please pray for God to comfort the grieving. And pray for an end to this pandemic that we may gather together for worship again.
ESV Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
(Rom 15:13 ESV)
In Christ, our Hope and Savior,
Pastor Paul Tessaro
