When to call the Pastor?

There are many times you are encouraged to call your Pastor.

Below are a few times when you may find it helpful to be in touch with your Pastor.

​

1.  When you are ill or hospitalized.  Some hospitals have a clergy list that we can check.  Many hospitals do not have such a list.  Even where there is a list it may not be updated due to vacations, weekends, illness or for other reasons.  Please let us know!  We want to visit as we are able!

​

2.  When someone is near death.  We want to be able to share God’s comfort with you and the person who is nearing the end of their earthly life.  God’s Word provides great strength and support for such times.

​

3.  When you have a new baby!  We want to join you in thanking God for the gift of life and help you choose a date for Baptism.

​

4.  When you are planning to be married.  We have a pre-marriage course that takes a number of weeks to complete.  Doing the pre-marriage course work early helps you focus on the wedding plans as the date approaches.

 

5.  When you are facing a major life decision.  We will pray with you and seek the counsel of God’s Word.

​

6.  When your conscience is bothering you.  We will share God’s Word with you and discuss God’s forgiveness with you.

​

7.  When you are having difficulties of any kind, marriage, relationships, work, and community situations can all be challenging.  Let’s see how God’s Word helps in your situation!
